I am so happy you are here!
My path to this work has been anything but traditional, shaped by years working late nights in hospitality, time spent as a freelance creative, and a deep love for Toronto’s music scene and counterculture communities. Through these experiences, I witnessed firsthand the gaps in accessible and affordable mental health support for people who often feel out of place in traditional systems. This ultimately led me to social work, where I found a way to bridge that divide while supporting people through trauma, complex life experiences, and the parts of themselves they may have struggled to understand.
I have joined Toronto Trauma Therapy as a Client Care Coordinator, where I currently work while receiving supervision and mentorship from our Director, Lou Gallo. This role provides valuable opportunities to deepen my clinical knowledge and continue developing my skills in a supportive learning environment. In addition to my formal education and lived experience, I am committed to ongoing professional growth through self-directed learning, specialized training, and continued supervision. As I grow, I will eventually be offering sliding-scale availability to keep our practice inclusive to everyone.
My approach is trauma-informed and may incorporate skills pulled from various modalities, such as mindfulness, somatic approaches, CBT, DBT, and introductory parts work drawn from Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am particularly passionate with developing my skills in working with complex trauma (C-PTSD), lifelong trauma, emotional regulation, and the ways difficult experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
I offer trauma-informed support for processing difficult life experiences, emotional regulation, developing healthy coping strategies, strengthening boundaries, anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, executive functioning, perfectionism, and, most importantly, being a genuine listener.
